Starfield

Bethesda is bringing us a brand new role-playing universe, the first in over 25 years. Starfield takes place 300 years in the future, out among the stars in a region called The Settled Systems. Roughly 20 years after the Colony War, a war between the United Colonies and Freestar Collective, the systems have settled into an uneasy peace. Players will create a fully customized member of Constellation, a collective of space explorers, and uncover the deepest mysteries of humanity. This open-world RPG allows humans to go where none have before ventured. Starfield is set to release on November 11, 2022.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

Following the journey of Senua through Viking Hell, Seuna’s Saga: Hellblade 2 holds the promise of deeper dives into Senua’s psychosis, trials, and tribulations. Prepare for more mind-bending psycho-horror and masterful violence rife with Celtic and Norse mythology and a thoughtful, naked approach to mental illness. The release date has yet to be announced, but speculation is that it will be released before the end of 2022.

Avowed

Obsidian is delivering a brand-new fantasy RPG set in The Living Lands region of Eora, the same land featured in Pillars of Eternity. In this game, there are groups of people born without souls and groups called Watchers that can see into past lives. Sword combat and runic magic take the reins in this Skyrim-esque open-world game. Rumor has it that this open-world will host several factions, massive scale boss battles, and the ability to kill anyone in-game. Avowed is set to release sometime in 2022.

Shredders

Shredders is a snowboarding game built as a love letter to snowboarders by snowboarders. Hit the slopes and shred some powder in this dynamic, action-packed ride. Carve down hand-sculpted parks, urban settings, and even get off-piste for some virgin snow. Previews of Shredders gameplay show stunning graphics, incredible challenges, and so much more. Shredders are scheduled for release in February of 2022.

RedFall

This open-world co-op first-person shooter from Arkane promises to be a sure-fire good time. On the serene island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, vampires have taken over. The small band of survivors must battle back these fiends and their human cultists to take back their homes and unblock the sun. Team up with 3 friends in co-op mode to fight your way to safety, or go it alone in the dark for a chilling and thrilling solo adventure. Redfall should be released in Summer 2022.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl

Over a decade in the making, Stalker fans are more than ready for the much-anticipated sequel. This game is set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone after the power plant exploded for the second time in 2006. This mysterious explosion has resulted in paranormal, supernatural events that spawn horrific beasts that must be eradicated. Stalker 2 offers a titillating blend of horror and first-person shooter for an intense experience. It’s scheduled for release on April 28, 2022, so get your preorder now!
